Plaza Comercial Villa Hidalgo

The architectural concept of the commercial plaza originates from an extruded, fragmented, and terraced oval shape with a central courtyard. This design aims to provide users with a peripheral view and to respond bioclimatically to the specific qualities of the site.

The present mixed-use project consists of a total of 6 buildings, of which 5 are designated for commercial purposes and 1 is intended for hotel services.

The commercial buildings are one and two stories high, consisting of units with an average area of 86.00 square meters, with the possibility of subdividing each into two units averaging 43 square meters. The complex is equipped with various parking areas, providing a total of 188 parking spaces.

Shopping centers have evolved in response to the various mobility scenarios and means of transportation in the city, resulting in a recurring urban landscape dominated by motor vehicles.

In response, the shopping center in the new Villa Hidalgo District is a project that combines spatial, architectural, and bioclimatic strategies to make leisure and shopping activities a comfortable and unparalleled experience compared to other shopping centers, thanks to its primarily pedestrian-oriented design.

A large central courtyard enhances the public space, allowing users to leave their vehicles behind and enjoy a shopping center that is 100% pedestrian-friendly. Additionally, the project's orientation ensures an appropriate response to direct solar exposure, creating comfortable and livable spaces for extended periods.

The hotel consists of a footprint of 345.7 square meters, which integrates and synergizes with the shopping center.
