Estacionamiento Isla San Marcos

The San Marcos Island Urban Park hosts some of the iconic facilities of the San Marcos National Fair. It is necessary to provide adequate public parking space for all its visitors, as well as accommodations for tourists. Therefore, it is proposed to build a vertical parking structure and a hotel with government offices, connected in the same building, offering more than 700 parking spaces and capable of being used for various purposes when not at full capacity during the fair season.

Offers a Padel club on its rooftop level that provides sports services year-round, as well as a restaurant and bar area where guests can enjoy the incredible views of the San Marcos Island Urban Park.

The building is not just a parking structure; it is designed to be an open and flexible space that can be transformed into a venue for presentations, government staff dinners, concerts, and more. This allows the infrastructure to be utilized throughout the year.

An analysis of pedestrian flows, public and private transportation, and their interactions was conducted to optimize the access and exits to the new building. As a result, new traffic lights, crosswalks, and wide tree-lined sidewalks are proposed to enhance the quality of the pedestrian experience.
